Materials
Repairs use stone and mortar compatible with the existing wall. Where a structural cause is suspected, we will say so and recommend an engineer's assessment before work proceeds.

- We cannot say without seeing it, and anything with a possible structural cause is referred for engineering assessment before repair.
- Can you repair rather than replace?
- Where the stone is sound enough, yes. Retaining original fabric is usually the better outcome.
