How we work
Every job starts with looking at what is already there: the stone, the mortar, the exposure and how the wall has been treated in the past. That assessment decides the specification, not the other way round.
Where original fabric can be kept, it is kept. Where stone has genuinely failed, it is replaced with material chosen to match bed height, texture and weathering behaviour.
We say what we cannot do as clearly as what we can. Anything with a possible structural cause is referred for engineering assessment before work proceeds.
